GATE ADMISSION/REFEREE RECEIPT POLICY

Sept 2008

Commencing with the 2008/2009 season, each team is responsible for providing parent
volunteers at their home games, to perform gate admission duties and for paying the
Referees for their team’s games. Each team is responsible for operating the gate in
accordance with the operating policy below.
Operating Policy
Gate admission is $3.00 for all adults and children 13 and over. Children 12 and under
are free. CMHA players do not pay gate admission. All parents and family members of
the home team shall pay admission in accordance with the gate admission policy noted
above. Universal Season Passes will be issued by CMHA to the various teams to sell.
These passes are $30 per person and will be honoured by all teams in the CMHA and
admit the valid holder to any CMHA game, including playoffs for the 2008/2009 season.
The home team may establish their gate 70 minutes prior to the scheduled start of their
game, or the start of the previous game whichever is later, and may operate their gate
until the next home team is entitled to do so. Up to five visiting team officials shall be
admitted at no charge, provided they show their Georgian Bay League card and/or sign
in as a team official. Members of the CMHA Board of Directors shall be admitted at no
charge, provided they show their valid CMHA identification card. Authorized team
officials of all CMHA teams shall be admitted at no charge, provided they show their
valid Georgian Bay league card.
By following this operating policy, all spectators from both Collingwood and the visiting
teams will be treated fairly and consistently.
Yours in hockey,
2008 - 2009 CMHA Board of Directors
